If you're looking for information about where to travel in SW Mexico, you've come to the right place. These articles chronicle my experiences as a 21 year-old Virginia-native living and studying in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico for 10 weeks and my travels to the surrounding areas.

Note: Posts for the last 2-3 weeks are missing. I will try to create these posts when I have time. I will also update the existing posts for ease but in the meantime, check out my Tag Cloud to find what you're looking for.

Please feel free to comment but if you have any questions, the best way to contact me is via Twitter at @caithaha or email (see contact info).

I just had one of the most ridiculous weekends – and ridiculous meaning awesome, strange, and really fun. On Thursday I finally got to hang out with the new people that are here this session. There is probably half as many people, less than half the excitement of the first session, and I 100% miss […]

It was definately had its uglier parts and it is definately way bigger. I traveled with two people from my school that are also here for 10 weeks: […]

As I’m writing this I am disappointed that there is so little of Mexico that I will be able to see. I spent this past weekend in a small surf town called Sayulita. (Robby: we must move there, trust me. I’ll explain later.) Sayulita consists of jungle, Mexican hippies, mountains, and a rather large group […]

My third week is half way over and I can’t believe that in two and a half weeks the first five-week session will be over and everyone (except a few) will be going home. I have not written or taken any pictures at all this week. I had two tests today and I got a […]
